While My Guitar Gently Weeps

This month we are working on a ukulele rite of passage, Jake Shimabukuro’s arrangement of The Beatles tune, While My Guitar Gently Weeps. This was one of the first tunes that really got me excited about progressing with the instrument. Check this old (pardon the quality) video of a very young Jake in Central Park, a catalyst for a whole generation of ukulele players. Also check this live version with a whole stage of heavy hitters including the one and only Prince. His solo is something else!
